Effective government doesn’t start with divisions along party lines. We need only look to Congress and their dismal approval ratings to see that a do-nothing legislative body doesn’t work for anyone. In the House of Delegates, I will work to find areas where I and my Democrat colleagues can agree to further the interests of the 16th district and our state. Special Sessions are costly and when they are the result of an inability to find common ground, they stem from a failure of your government.

There is nothing partisan about bettering our communities. Prosperity is not a left or right issue. I want to build coalitions of broad and diverse backgrounds and political ideologies. Together, we are stronger than the sum of our parts. Through open and honest dialogue, relationship building, and common goals, we will advance our state and bring together our people with a unity of purpose – making West Virginia Greater Than Ever Before!
